We are thrilled to introduce new team members! Rahul Manikkoth has recently joined the group in our third (!) cohort of graduate students.
Rahul is from Kannur, India. He completed a combined Bachelor's and Master’s in chemistry and biology at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Thiruvananthapuram in 2023. As an undergrad, he did research at IISER on metal clusters and cluster assembled materials with Sukhendu Mandal.
He moved to Penn State to begin his PhD in chemistry in Fall 2023, officially joining our group in December after a fall rotation.
Rahul is currently a Teaching Assistant in the General Chemistry program. Rahul will start work on the colloidal nanosynthesis project, aiming to synthesize new metastable structures with phase control.
